The final round of Tsinghua University’s 6th Environmental-friendly Science & Technology Competition was held in SOE on the July 2nd, 2011. There was a total of 30 teams got the tickets for the final round. Among these competitors were students from Tsinghua University, Tongji University, Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology. Professor of SOE Zuo Jian’e, Liu Jianguo, Wen Xianghua, Zhang Pengyi, Xi Jinying, Jiang Jingkun, Professor Xia Siqing of Tongji University, Professor Bu Longli of Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology, President of Tsinghua Scientific Association Zhang Shaojun, President of the SOE Scientific Association Zheng Bo, and Diao Huifang from the sponsor company HACH were invited to be the judges for the competition.

    This year’s competition has gotten increasing popularity among other schools and even other institutes in Tsinghua. There was a total of 99 pieces of work submitted and the final list of those who will be awarded will be announced in mid July.
