Scholarships
The School of Environment (SOE) has set up a number of scholarships to commend outstanding students. These awards encourage students to strive for excellence and innovation, guide them to train and improve themselves in morality, studies, scientific research and practice, arts and sports, and social work. At present, the award-winning proportion of each scholarship does not exceed 50% of the number of candidates, with the percentage of overall excellence scholarship winners not exceeding 20% of the candidates.
SOE also provides multiple bursaries. Adhering to the basic policy of helping students who really need financial aids to finish their study, SOE seeks out students whose families are in financial difficulties in the current academic year through surveys and interviews with students in the School and gives them different degrees of financial assistance. In recent years, the proportion of students receiving various types of bursaries has been around 20% of all students.
