Over 200 alumni of SOE came back to the campus to celebrate the 102nd birthday of THU on April 28.

They shared their precious old stories from their time in THU at the gala ceremony. As a special gift for the celebration, alumni admitted in the year of 1998 donated six portraits of all academicians of Chinese Academy of Engineering who had graduated from or worked at SOE. Prof. Jing Wenyong and Prof. Du Pengfei unveiled these figures. During the ceremony, Prof. Du briefly talked about several interesting experiences of the academicians when they were at SOE.

SOE hung these portraits on the wall at the door of the school building to encourage young people to strive for their dreams.
