Professor Peter Crane, Dean of the School of Forestry & Environmental Studies(F&ES) at Yale University, visited SOE on October 29th.SOE Dean Yu Gang and Dean Assistant Liu Shuming exchanged ideas with Prof. Crane on faculty resources, student training and education, research and global cooperation in Tsinghua and Yale. Besides, the two sides decided to bring forward the Environment and Sustainable Development Leadership Program, a training program for senior Chinese officials organized by SOE and F&ES since 2004, and seek more cooperation on education and research. Prof. Peter Crane also visited SOE’s Division of Environmental Management and Policy, the research platforms, and laboratories of Sewage Treatment, Drinking Water Safety and Dioxin Treatment.
