Regional Environment and Sustainable Development Certificate Program for Ph.D. candidates (RESD) among Japan, Korea and China began the THU part of courses in SOE on July 15~22.

9 Ph.D. students from THU, Tongji University(TJU), Kyoto University, Tohoku University, University of Tokyo and Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) took part in this program. RESD was co-intiated by the above universities. Each university selects 2 to 3 Ph.D. candidate joining the program every year. Participants take courses in these universities over times periods of 5 sequential days for each and the program lasts one month. Students who eventually pass the exam shall receive certificates of the program co-issued by all above universities.
