On September 14th, SOE holds the award ceremony of the 7th Tsinghua Environmental-friendly Science & Technology Competition (TEST) in SIEEB.

A senior student of SOE, Sun Yuchi, won the first prize for object innovation with his works of Android Platform for personal carbon footprint calculation. GUO Haijun from East China Normal University won the first prize for theoretical innovation with his works of “Dynamic 3D Green Value-An Urban Greenbelt Eco-evaluation Model Based on Personal Benefits”. 12 from 130 entries obtained different levels of prizes. Representatives from SOE, School of Environmental and Civil Engineering of Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology, and Hach Co., Ltd. were present.

This competition aims at advocating the concepts of energy conservation and environmental protection, as well as encouraging university students to participate in the construction of energy-saving and environmentally-friendly society with innovative technological ideas. In this competition, the total number of entries and the proportion of object entries both reached record levels.
