Tsinghua Alumni Association of Environment (TAAE) was established in SOE of THU on April 28.

Of those who attended and delivered a speech, included Li Ganjie, Vice Minister of Ministry of Environmental Protection, Chen Xu, Executive Deputy Secretary of THU Committee of CPC, Qian Yi, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and Yu Gang, Dean of  SOE. Du Pengfei, Secretary of SOE Committee of CPC, presided over the ceremony. Attendees discussed and passed articles and the list of the Council and Secretariat of TAAE. Guo Liang, Secretary-General of TAAE, declared that Li Ganjie was elected as the first Chairman of the Council of TAAE. More than 200 alumni presented in the ceremony.
