Symposium on comprehensive cooperation between Inner Mongolia Institute of Environmental Science (IMIES) and SOE was held in SIEEB on Mar 12. Bai Zhifeng, Dean of IMIES, and Du Pengfei, Secretary of SOE Committee of CPC, had a talk on mutual scientific research and personnel training.

BaiZhifeng introduced the situation of IMIES and environment problems in Inner Mongolia. He also presented the willingness of IMIES to proceed the cooperation with SOE on Environmental Management, Pollution Control technology and Personnel Training.

Du Pengfei made a introduction of SOE on aspects of History, Research and Teaching affairs of SOE and showed the positive attitude towards the comprehensive collaboration on atmosphere environment, water environment, ecological environment, environment management, pollution control, energy saving, reduction of carbon emission and heavy metals control in key industries and river basin. He additionally emphasized the employment guidance and personnel training in organizations.

Quan Zhong, Vice Dean of IMIES, and Duan Lei, Vice Dean of SOE attended the symposium. Prof. Wang Chengwen, Prof. Zhang Xu, and Prof. Wang Shuxiao from SOE also joined in the discussion.
