The Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) published the list of 54 new elected academicians of 9 academic divisions on December 8, making the total number 783. Duan Ning, 1981 alumnus of the School of Environment (SOE), Tsinghua University was included.

Duan Ning, new member of the academic division of Environment and Textile Engineering, got his Master’s degree from SOE, Tsinghua University and is now the Vice President of the Clean Production Center of the Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Science.

The other 5 elected alumni from Tsinghua University were Li Tianchu, Tan Tianwei, Xu Mi, Gong Xiaonan, and Zheng Jingchen.
