SOE held a welcoming party for the 85 new undergraduate students in SIEEB on August 17.

    Dean of SOE Yu Gang, Secretary of SOE’s CPC Committee Du Pengfei, Vice Dean Zuo Jian’e, Vice Secretary Liu Jianguo, head teachers for the new students Yue Dongbei, Liu Huan, and Lu Yun, group leader of undergraduate affairs Liu Yanchen, Assistant Wang Fengyang, and parents of the freshmen all attended the welcome party which was presided over by Zuo Jian’e.

    Dean Yu Gang introduced the history of SOE’s development, and its achievements in discipline construction, personnel training, scientific research and social service. Du Pengfei gave an introduction on the training and employment of SOE undergraduates. Liu Jianguo, along with head teachers and assistants summarized the typical problems that come up at the beginning of college life. The SOE leaders also answered questions from the parents.
