The new graduate students totaling one hundred seventy arrived on August 25th. They are the first class of post-graduate students of the School of Environmental after Tsinghua University celebrated the 100th year of its founding. Before 8 o’clock in the morning, Zhang ying from the academy office of the School of Environment and Li Ying from the party committee accompanied by other teachers led the assistants of the academy office and the new students of the graduate summer league school to set up the new students welcoming tent on the tennis court west of the Sports Center. They assisted the new students with their enrollment paperwork and guided them through all the procedures.

    The new post-graduate students enrolling this year are not only the first grade of post-graduate students to enroll after celebrating the 100th year of Tsinghua University founding, but they are also the first post-graduate students to enroll after the establishment of the School of Environment. Its enrollment of international students is also the highest in the history of the school totaling around 20. All the teachers and students are well prepared to welcome the new students and help them quickly adapt to the new environment. The new student assistant Xuebiao Nie made the commemorative roll-up banner of first enrollment of the School of Environment, so the new students to take pictures with it in commemoration. The graduate students committee also specially designed a series of postcards and mobile phone chains.

    Over the next few weeks, the new students will be involved in professional academic training to get prepared for the coming life in Tsinghua School of Environment.
