Commencement of SOE graduates of 2011 was held in SIEEB on June 27.

    Dean of SOE Yu Gang, Secretary of SOE Committee of the CPC Du Pengfei, Vice Secretary Liu Jianguo, Vice Secretary Liu Wenjun and Vice Dean of Tsinghua Graduate School in Shenzhen Hu Hongying attended the ceremony. Prof. Zuo presided over the commencement and introduced the employment situation of graduates this year. Yu Gang addressed a speech entitled “Starting career in special year, leading to green development” and encouraged graduates to seize the rare chance, keep in mind the sacred duty, overcome the great diffi culty and start their own career. Du Pengfei declared the recognition of outstanding graduates. Representative of Ph.D. graduates Cheng Yuan and representative of master graduates Chen Yuqiao made their speeches respectively. Leaders of all divisions and the graduate affairs group attended the ceremony.

    Among these 68 graduates, 17 Ph.D. of Engineering and 51 Masters of Engineering all found jobs after graduation; in addition, 60% of the graduates will work in key industries.
