The establishment of “The State Key Laboratory of Environmental Microorganism Utilization and Control” jointly applied by SOE, Shenzhen Graduate School of Tsinghua University, and Life Sciences Department, was approved by the Ministry of Environmental Protection MEP on April 15.

    This laboratory is the only key laboratory in China which aims at environmental microorganism utilization and control, and environmental management. The establishment of the laboratory will promote the research and social service work in environmental microorganism of SOE, and provide a platform for the cooperation of research in environmental microorganism with other research teams.
