《环境工程原理》是环境工程、环境科学、给水排水工程等相关专业的主干专业基础课，主要讲述水处理工程、大气污染控制工程、固体废弃物处理处置工程等环境污染控制以及生态修复工程中涉及的具有共性的基本现象和基本过程的基本原理。主要内容包括环境工程原理基础、分离过程原理和化学与生物反应工程原理三部分。环境工程原理基础部分主要讲述物料与能量守恒原理、传递过程等。分离过程原理部分主要讲述沉淀、过滤、吸收、吸附、膜分离等的基本原理。化学与生物反应工程原理部分讲述化学和微生物反应计量学、动力学、各类反应器的过程解析等。

The main task of the course is to distinguish the general principles in water pollution control, air pollution control, solid waste disposal and environmental reclamation engineering, the fundamental principles of engineering design and calculations, and methodology of analyzing and solving problems. The basic knowledge includes principles in three aspects: environmental engineering systems, separation process and reaction engineering. The first part includes mass balance, heat/energy transfer and mass transfer. The second part includes precipitation, filtration, absorption, adsorption and membrane filtration. The third part includes the metrology and dynamics of chemical and microbial reactions, and the analysis and calculations of various types of reactors.
