Li Huiyun started working at the General Administration Office of the Department of Civil Engineering in 1971, serving as the deputy secretary of the Youth League Committee and the organizing committee. She was transferred to the Department of Environmental Engineering, working at the Academic Affairs Office, General Administration Office and Archive Office successively. She retired in 2010.
