Wang Rui started working at the State Key Laboratory and Experiment Center at the Department of Environmental Engineering in 1986. She supervised undergraduate and graduate students in microbiology experiments, water treatment and pollution control exprimental technology courses and engaged in management of laboratory instruments and water quality inspection. She was a national metrology certification assessor and retired as a senior lab engineer in 2010.
