Areas of Research Interests/ Research Projects

Novel technologies for water and wastewater treatment: invented several novel advanced oxidation processes (AOPs), e.g., electro-peroxone (E-peroxone), photoelectro-peroxone (PEP), and E-UV/H2O2, which significantly improve the performance of water treatment compared with conventional AOPs such as ozonation, electrochemical oxidation, and UV/H2O2.
