Research Areas

His research examines the environmental impacts of emissions from road transportation systems on air quality, climate and public health. Focus areas include 1) characterization of real- world vehicle emissions by using advanced sensors and instruments, 2) high-resolution modeling of traffic emissions and air quality impacts, 3) climate, cost and environmental impact assessment for electric vehicles and other emerging transportation systems, 4) aviation emissions and their air quality and climate impacts

We are looking for undergraduate, master and Ph.D. student researchers to work in research projects and relevant topics of transportation energy and air quality.

The research area has open positions for highly creative and motivated postdoctoral fellows with strong background in environmental engineering, atmospheric chemistry, transportation and mechanical engineering.
