美国圣母大学开展2023年暑期实验室研修项目，拟邀请我校学生参加。项目具体事宜如下：

※考虑新冠疫情的影响，本项目存在不确定因素，不排除录取后无法实际派出的情形，请申请人及相关院系充分留意各种不确定因素并提前做好相关预案。

一、项目介绍

美国圣母大学（University of Notre Dame）创建于1842年，是一所私立天主教研究型大学，位于美国印地安纳州密歇根湖畔的南本德市，历年来稳居全美20所顶尖学府之列，2023年圣母大学将开展暑期实验室研修项目。

The International Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (iSURE) provides opportunities for international undergraduate and master's students to conduct research at the University of Notre Dame. Students will gain valuable hands-on research experience and exposure to broader areas of research. Students work closely with Notre Dame faculty and graduate students on a variety of ongoing research projects. Upon successful completion of the program, all iSURE participants will receive an official program completion certificate from the University of Notre Dame. We are offering a total of 44 projects in the Summer of 2023.

On campus housing is provided for all iSURE students throughout the program as well as a series of activities and events to engage iSURE cohorts with other summer students. Some of the signature events include:

wFace-to-face Q&A sessions with Graduate Admissions Committee of certain departments

wField trip to Chicago and visit Chicago’s most iconic attractions

wEvening activities such as speed-friending, scavenger hunt, ice-skating, and star-gazing

wResearch poster/presentation sessions

wInteractions and discussions with Notre Dame undergraduate students

二、项目时间

2023年7月5日—8月26日（共8周）

三、相关费用

1.项目申请费70美元；

2.项目费5500美元，该费用包含：

wHousing on Notre Dame's campus for the entire duration of the program

wMeal plan covering most meals throughout the program at the buffet-style campus dining hall

wNotre Dame student health insurance

wDay trip to Chicago

wReception with participating faculty

wOther program-sponsored activities and events

3.录取学生有机会获得500-1500美元不等的奖学金资助，该奖学金由外方学校直接评定；

4.申请者还需个人负担往返国际旅费、办理护照签证的费用，以及其他个人支出。

四、申请条件

1.我校正式注册在读的二、三年级本科生，或非毕业年级硕士研究生；

2.专业方向或研究兴趣与所申请岗位一致，有相关研究经历者优先；

3.成绩优秀，Minimum GPA of 3.0；

4.英文水平良好(Minimum TOEFL iBT "My Best Score" 80, IELTS 6, Duolingo English Test 105)。

五、申请流程

1.申请人于2023年2月13日前提交校内申请，具体流程为：登录info—在线服务系统—国际处—学生海外学习短期项目申请。提交时：

（1）拟申请项目代码为：2023015；

（2）在相应位置上传：英文版成绩单、英语水平证明。

2.申请人于2023年2月15日（February 15, 2023 at 11:59PM US Eastern Time）前完成外方网申：

3.2月15日之后，外方学校启动录取工作，录取结果将通过邮件告知；

4.3月15日—4月30日外方学校协助录取学生准备签证材料。

Note： All applicants are advised NOT to contact the faculty before receiving admission to ensure the fairness of the selection process. We reserve the right to withdraw any applicant from the program for this reason.
