In the third teaching building in Tsinghua University Professor Cai Jiming at the National Center for Economic Research at Tsinghua University, gave a lecture on the hot talks in the NPC and CPPCC on 12th, March 2006. During the lecture, Professor Cai made a profound analysis of the practical conditions and the problems to-be-met in the constructing process of new countryside. He concluded that the institutional arrangement of land was a critical matter in the construction of new countryside, which should not be slid over. After his lecture, the participants poured all kinds of questions to Professor Cai, which added the enthusiastic and passionate atmosphere of the lecture. As a delegate to the NPC and CPPCC, Professor Cai himself took part in different sessions, and came up with several significant proposals. After the conferences, Professor Cai always gives lectures for his colleagues and students in Tsinghua University, which becomes great scenery here every year.
