- Occurrence and fate of emerging organic contaminants (e.g. POPs, PPCPs) in Chinese environment, and emission from as specific sources (e.g. industrial facilities, WTTPs, incinerators)
- Dioxins release control for key sources (e.g. ore sintering plants, pulp and paper, secondary nonferrous processing facilities)
- Advanced oxidation/reduction technologies for the destructive removal of emerging organic contaminants in water
- Non-combustion technologies for the disposal of POPs containing waste and the remediation of POPs contaminated soil
- Technical strategies for the implementation of the Stockholm Convention on POPs
