School of environment on May 24 (reported by Qian Zhao), On May 23, 2015, the 'Global Environment Program' advisory board meeting was held in Room 205 in School of Environment, Tsinghua University.
The Advisory board is a consulting group for the Global Environment Program, for its top-level design, teaching plan, resource integration, and international cooperation and so on, the board will give proper advice and provide all kinds of support. The thirteen members are well-known experts and scholars in the international environment field, and Mr. Shigang Zhang was named as the director of the advisory board, who    is the general representative of Beijing Office of United Nations Environment Programe. Dean Kebin He expressed welcome and appreciation to all the board members, and issued the letter of appointment. Former dean of school of environmental, the Chief Professor Gang Yu introduced the general information of the global environment program, supervisor Dongbei Yue introduced the teaching plan in its details. The members have carried out discussions, and are highly confident and satisfied with the establishment of the Global Environment Program and its academic merits for student, also they have made valuable comments on brand building and sustainable development, career development, national education, quality education and core teaching material construction and so on. The conference was chaired by the vice dean Jiane Zuo, consultant professor Chan Wang, assistant Qian Zhao and students assistant Yang Hua participated in the meeting.
