Tsinghua President Gu Binglin, Vice President Wang Jinsong and heads of the President's Office and Foreign Affairs Office attended the 2005 World Economic Forum held in Davos, Switzerland from Jan. 26 to Feb. 5.

Chinese Vice Premier Huang Ju also attended the prestigious global gathering.

President Gu and Vice President Wang visited ETH-ZURICH, Delfort University, University of Copenhagen, Aarhus University, and DTU-Technical University of Denmark.

This year marked the first time the World Economic Forum has invited presidents of world-famous universities to participate in discussions on higher education. Among this year's guests were the presidents of Harvard University, Yale University and the University of Cambridge.
