Jeffrey S. Lehman, President of Cornell University, visited Tsinghua University on July 1. Vice President Gong Ke and Vice Chairman of University Council Hu Dongcheng met and talked with the guests.
President Lehman and Professor Gong Ke introduced the two universities respectively. They also discussed the potential collaboration between the two universities in the areas of biotechnology, information technology, material science, energy and environment, and so on.
After the meeting, President Lehman visited the Department of Biological Science and Biotechnology and the Analysis Center.
Founded in 1865, Cornell University is one of the renowned Ivy League Universities in the U.S.
