Tsinghua University held its 17th Campus Singing Competition in the Auditorium on the evening of April 19. Zhao Xiadi from the Department of Precision Instruments and Mechanology won the award for the Best Male Vocal Performance and Yang Er’ru from the School of Humanities and Social Sciences won the award for the Best Female Vocal PerformanceIn all, 14 students and music groups participated in the final competition. Some student volunteers from the Water Cube swimming and diving competitions also sang together a song about volunteers. Shi Zongkai, Vice Chairman of the University Council, attended the party after the singing competition.
