Tsinghua Opens Its Institute for Gas Turbine

2014 Tsinghua International Forum on Gas Turbine Technology Held

The Opening ceremony of Institute for Gas Turbine (IGT), Tsinghua University, was held in Tsinghua’s Main Building on February 27. The 2014 Tsinghua International Forum on Gas Turbine Technology was held the same day.

Former Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Hua Jianmin, Former Head of National Energy Administration Zhang Guobao, Vice Minister of Education Du Zhanyuan, and Tsinghua University President Chen Jining attended the opening ceremony and deliver speeches. Tsinghua University Deputy President Cheng Jianping hosted the ceremony.
