Tsinghua University with Hokkaido University and Nagoya University celebrated Joint University Day at Tsinghua on March 8th.

With the aim to promote cooperation in education and research and to encourage innovative personnel training, Joint University Day features an exhibition, a forum on innovative personnel training, lectures, and a performance of traditional Japanese song and dance. A total of 70 Hokkaido University and Nagoya University guests participated in the event.

Tsinghua Vice President Chen Xu, Professor SAEKI Hiroshi, Hokkaido University President Professor Shin-ichi Hirano, and Minister of Japan’s Embassy in China Mr. Hisashi Michigami attended the opening ceremony in Tsinghua’s Main Building.
