Ten Tsinghua teachers were selected recently by over 11,000 Tsinghua undergraduate students as their most loved teachers. Launched in April 2008, the activity provides a chance for Tsinghua undergraduate students to vote on line for their favorite teachers. An evening party was held on November 21 in honor of the ten teachers.

The ten teachers selected by the students as their favorites were: Wu Wenhu from the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Wei Dan from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Chen Weijun from the School of Software, Zheng Li from the Department of Industrial Engineering, Li Yanmei from the Department of Chemistry, Gao Wenhuan from the Department of Electronic Engineering, Zhang Jianping from the Department of Civil Engineering, Yan Xuetong from the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Peng Lin from the Department of History, and Lv Jishu, a teacher of public courses.
