Prof. Takeshi Sasaki, President of the University of Tokyo , visited Tsinghua on November 22. Tsinghua President Gu Binglin met and had a friendly talk with Prof. Takeshi Sasaki.

The two presidents exchanged information on faculties and hoped that more collaboration be built between the two universities in material science and engineering fields.

After the talk, Prof. Takeshi Sasaki paid visits to students' dormitories and the Library.

Founded in 1874, the University of Tokyo is the first public school of Japan and possesses high reputation in the world.
