The Fifth Advisory Board Meeting of the School of Economics and Management was held in Tsinghua on November 3. Mr. Zhou Ji, Minister of Ministry of Education, P.R.C., and Tsinghua President Gu Binglin attended the meeting. Mr. Chen Zhili, the State Councilor, Mr. Wang Qishan, Mayor of Beijing, Mr. Ma Kai, Minister of the State Development and Reform Commission, Prof. Chen Xi, President of the University Council, and Prof. Wang Dazhong, Honorary President of the University Council, participated in the related activities of the Advisory Board.

The Advisory Board of Tsinghua’s School of Economics and Management was composed of more than forty presidents and chairmen of the world-famous transnational corporations, leaders of enterprises and organizations in China, and world-known experts. With the purpose of enhancing the connections between TsinghuaUniversity and the industries, the Board has been contributing to the advancement of education and research of the School of Economics and Management and has become a platform of exchange.
